1935: Student Activities Council organized; Blanche Bowlsbey and Adele Pruss begin as City's first women teachers.
1936: City cited in New York Times as National Lacrosse champions.
1937: Pre-war enrol1nient peaks at 3,215.
1938: Eastern High School moves next to City.
1939: City holds 100th Anniversary celebration. Professor James Leonhart's One Hundred Years of the Baltimore City College published.

1941: Victory Corps formed to support war Effort; over 5,000 City students serve in armed forces; 204 are killed and three receive Medal of Honor; all students except 'A' course now enter City as Sophomores.
1943: City awards non-athletic letters.
1947: Baltimore Junior College organized on City's third floor and stays until 1959.
1948: Dr. Chester H. Katenkamp, principal.
1950: Athletic Hall of Fame begun.
1954: City College integrated.
